(Varón, 2023) Bottles is a small needlepoint artwork inspired by several acrylic bottle paintings I have created. I am fascinated by the geometric patterns and visual rhythms that emerge when bottles stand together on a table, their shapes interacting in both symmetry and contrast. Bottles have been a classic subject in still life art throughout history, and this piece reimagines that tradition through the textural and tactile medium of needlepoint, blending contemporary design, pattern exploration, and the timeless appeal of everyday objects.
